Hi,
I am Jeanne Novak, known as The Beaded Gypsy, and I have been creating beaded art since 1990. As a bead artist my work expresses traditional and innovative beadwork. Using seed beads as my primary medium, the majority of my art is hand sewn with a variety of off-loom stitches to evoke emotion through color, design, and texture. Additional glass beads and gemstones of various shapes and sizes are also used to enhance my designs. My work has appeared in galleries and art shows throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Colorado.
My love for teaching allows me to use my many years of experience and innovative techniques to teach a variety of students at all levels. My certification in Precious Metal Clay rounds out my extensive list of classes.
My passion and joy for beading are seen in my creations and fun classes! I truly believe that God has called me to share my gifts with those who want to exhibit their creative spirit!
